About This Role

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale our healthcare API platform. You'll work on critical infrastructure that processes millions of healthcare transactions daily.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable API endpoints for healthcare data access
Build integrations with EHR systems using HL7, FHIR, and proprietary protocols
Optimize database queries and improve system performance
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions
Participate in on-call rotation for production systems

Requirements

5+ years of backend development experience
Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and distributed systems
Understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) is a plus
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)

Nice to Have

Healthcare industry experience
Experience with HIPAA compliance
Contributions to open-source projects
